What is Color Rendering Index (CRI)?

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a scale from 0 to 100 that measures how accurately a light source reveals the true colors of objects compared to natural sunlight. A higher CRI indicates better color accuracy, with 100 being the closest to natural light. For most applications, a CRI of 80 or above is considered good, while a CRI of 90+ is excellent and often used in environments where color precision is critical, such as in homes, galleries, or yacht interiors.
